Daffodils are the savours at the end of a long winter, when March comes along how joyous it is to see their bright yellow faces telling us spring that is finally here. I think of them as friendly flowers, how sociable they are gathering in their little clusters along the road's edge for all to enjoy. The classic blue and white Burleighware jug compliments their colours so nicely.
